Universal Orlando Resort Will Not Be Requiring Unvaccinated Employees To Get Weekly Covid Test
Universal has confirmed that its employees will no longer be required to have weekly COVID testing if they are not vaccinated. This new announcement will reverse the policy made a couple on January 11th.
On January 11th, Universal employees were told they would need to get vaccinated or get weekly COVID testing every 7 days if they forgo the vaccination. Universal would also be providing free testing on-site to make it easier on Team Members.
Universal released this statement regarding that decision:
“The health and safety of our guests and team members has been our ongoing focus during the pandemic,” Universal said, adding, “This new policy is specific to our team members and does not impact our guests. We will also be monitoring legal action involving these regulations by a variety of state and private interests and will adapt accordingly if there are changes.”
