E.T. Adventure and Toy Closet Entrances Have Reopened
The entrance to legendary Universal Orlando Resort attraction E.T. Adventure has been under refurbishment since April along with the E.T. Toy Closet. But, it looks like things are nearing completion of the project. We noticed during our visit this week, that the E.T. Adventure entrance and Toy Closet have reopened.
Despite the construction, Universal did keep the E.T. Adventure ride open throughout the entrance refurbishment.
However, the neighboring gift shop – E.T. Toy Closet did close while the work was being carried out.
At the time of the closure, Universal did say that both areas were being closed off for scheduled maintenance and enhancement.
Having visited the sight, we didn’t notice any big noticeable changes so we suspect the work was routine maintenance.
Though the entrances are now open, construction walls are still up in the area, and work is ongoing.
Artwork and imagery have been posted along the construction walls making for cute selfie opportunities so have your cameras at the ready!
Temporary signage has also been put up for restrooms, directories, etc.
Attraction wait time signage is also out.
We will continue to monitor construction and promise to keep you posted on any additional developments!
