Poolside Movies at Universal Orlando Hotels
My favorite thing to do after a long, hot day in the parks is cooling off with a poolside movie at a Universal Orlando Resort hotel. Every night around sunset, weather permitting, all six Universal Orlando hotels screen your favorite family-friendly movies at the pools, which means everyone can get in on the fun.
While you’re relaxing by the pool and watching your favorite flick, make sure to check out some of my favorite things about each of the hotel pools!
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort

Bring the whole family along for a poolside movie at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort’s pool. It’s the largest pool at Universal Orlando Resort, so there’s plenty of space and activities for everyone to enjoy before, during and after the movie. Kids will love splashing in the pool’s shallow zero entry area or zipping down the water slide while parents kick back with a refreshing Dhrum Club Punch. Make a cool family memory when you bring everyone together around the poolside fire pit to roast s’mores.
Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort

With two pools to choose from, Cabana Bay Beach Resort offers double the fun for poolside movie goers. While the movie is on, kids can play on the water slide beneath the glow of the neon lights at the Cabana Courtyard Pool or float down the twists and turns at the Lazy River Courtyard Pool while taking in mesmerizing nighttime views of the Krakatau Volcano at Universal’s Volcano Bay. Double the fun means you’ll need to refuel, so be sure to visit Atomic Tonic or The Hideaway Bar & Grill for delicious poolside food and drinks.

At Loews Royal Pacific Resort, you’ll be transported to the South Pacific during the Golden Age of Travel when explorers island-hopped in search of the next great adventure.
