Universal Studios Hollywood Will Reopen on April 16
Universal Studios Hollywood is finally reopening on Friday, April 16th after a year-long closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Although opening with limited capacity, Season Pass Members may begin making reservations for the reopening day earlier than the general public on April 5 and can use their passes on a more regular basis starting April 17.

“We’re rolling out the red carpet to resume operations and welcome guests back to the theme park beginning on Friday, April 16,” Universal said in a press release. “At this time, theme park visits are limited to California residents and party size is limited to a maximum of three households and ten people.”
While most rides will be operational, some rides, attractions, and shows will reopen at a later date as the theme park complies with government restrictions. Universal Studios Hollywood continues to work in partnership with health and government officials to implement new health and safety procedures that include physical distancing, required face coverings, and significant limits on in-park capacity.
Park tickets for the general public will go on sale, online only, starting on Monday, April 8th.
