Universal Orlando Resort Lifts Mask Mandate for Fully Vaccinated Guests
It was announced today masks will no longer be required for fully vaccinated guests, starting tomorrow, February 12th.
This decision was made according to local trends and conditions of COVID-19 cases. The state of Florida has a positivity rate of 18%. The Friday press release also stated that “guests who have not been vaccinated will be encouraged to wear face coverings while indoors.”
Proof of vaccination will not be required but the resort asks of guests that feel sick with fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, sore throat, new loss of taste or smell, or have been in contact with anyone COVID-19 positive to stay home.
