Volcano Bay Celebrates 5 Years Today!
Volcano Bay first opened its door on May 27th, 2017, and we are so thankful they did! Some may argue that Volcano bay is one of the best water parks in Florida, and in the entire United States.

Volcano Bay sits on 28 acres of land on Universal Orlando property. The water park has 4 themed areas with 18 attractions. Volcano bay is designed to provide guests with a unique one-of-a-kind vacation experience. After all, it is a water theme park!

All the rides at Volcano Bay feature a Virtual Line that changes how you wait. Just tap in with your TapuTapu wearable band to grab a ride time. Then go float, swim, splash, eat, shop or relax around the park. Your TapuTapu will tell you when it’s your time to ride.

When you arrive, head to the far side of the volcano—you’ll find plenty of rides and seating in the back of the park. Better yet, hit the beach 30 minutes before the park opens when you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel. For the ultimate stress-free retreat, reserve a private cabana or a shaded lounger— you can even have food delivered to you.

Guests can also take advantage of private cabanas. They have Single Cabana Units that fit up to 6 people and also Family Suite Cabanas that fit up to 16 people.
