Universal has been planning something big for a while now — a completely new theme park in Orlando! And, it’s safe to say that it will be epic.

Epic Universe is currently under construction, and we’ve been keeping up with all the major announcements. But now, it’s time for maybe the biggest announcement of all — the opening date!
Epic Universe Opening Date Announced
Universal Epic Universe will officially open on May 22nd, 2025! AHHHH — That is so soon, everyone!

Universal made the announcement on their Instagram account and mentioned that “Select multi-day tickets and packages will go on sale October 22. Bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, will also be made available.” So, you can start booking your vacation to the park as early as NEXT WEEK!

Epic Universe will be home to several different lands including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park. Celestial Park will be in the middle of the park and the rest of the lands will be accessible through “portals.”

We’ve been keeping up with the details of each land, and they simply look incredible. There will be major attractions, entertainment, character encounters, and so much more!
