Universal Orlando Resort Adds Epic Universe to Artwork
It is an exciting week for Universal Orlando Resort! Orlando’s newest theme park, Epic Universe, has been under construction, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more announcements.
From the exciting new hotel to the immersive new lands, this new theme park is going to be…well, Epic!
Just this past week, Universal shared the opening date of the much-anticipated theme park! Fans can experience the new park when Universal Epic Universe officially opens on May 22nd, 2025!
In addition, bookings for Universal Helios Grand Hotel, a Loews Hotel, opened this week, as did ticket sales!
As we get closer to the opening, we noticed another small update that popped up on Universal’s artwork.
Something New
There has been a new addition to the banners on the Universal Orlando Resort website and app.
Universal Epic Universe has officially been added to the theme park lineup, which is a great sign that we are so close to this exciting grand opening!
Earlier this month, Universal Orlando Resort also filed permits for new entrance signs. The popular theme park is ensuring it is easy for guests to get around, experience the parks, and have fun when Epic opens.
Get Ready for Epic Universe
Epic Universe is Universal Orlando’s newest offering and will be home to several different lands, including The Wizarding World of Harry Potter — Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon — Isle of Berk, Dark Universe, and Celestial Park.

Wow, the Epic Universe at Universal Orlando sounds absolutely amazing! I love how they are bringing so many different worlds together. Quick question though, since it’s such a huge project, are there any tips or insights on managing lines and crowd flow once it opens? Looks like it could get pretty busy with all these attractions.
