Universal Studios Wait Times for February 2026
We’re a full month into 2026 now, and not much has changed.
Fans are still standing in line for an hour per attraction at Universal Epic Universe.

I’ve evaluated those wait times in the other article, but now we focus on the originals.
Here are the Universal Studios wait times for February 2026.
Universal Studios Florida – The Big Three

You know the rules by now. Even though I call it the February update, we’re looking back at January.
For the most part, this should have been a quiet month at Universal Orlando Resort.

Universal
While Epic Universe will remain a significant draw for at least another 18 months, everything else was the same.
During January, the biggest news at the parks was Rock the Universe, an ever-popular event.

However, the concerts only last for a couple of days, which reduces their impact on lines.
Speaking of which, Universal just announced some changes, including a closure.

We won’t have Fast & Furious: Supercharged to kick around for much longer.
This mercy killing cannot happen fast enough for me, as I criticized it from day one.

The 2010s were a dark time for most of the non-Potter/Simpsons stuff at the parks.
Speaking of which, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts was the most popular of the big three.

That’s usually the case at Universal Studios Florida, and this past month worked as usual.
Guests waited for 62 minutes to flee from Death Eaters, which is two minutes more than last time.

Revenge of the Mummy, which has been in the news for all the wrong reasons, still did well.
The roller coaster averaged a wait of 41 minutes, which is two minutes more than last time.

Despicable Me Minion Mayhem
Finally, Despicable Me Minion Mayhem guests waited for an average of 39 minutes.
That’s three minutes more than last time. So, we’re surprisingly trending up for January.
Universal Studios Florida – Everything Else

Here are the park’s other average wait times last month:
- TRANSFORMERS The Ride 3D – 34 minutes, up 2
- Hogwarts Express – King’s Cross Station – 31 minutes, down 5
- The Simpsons Ride – 29 minutes, down 1
- T. Adventure – 27 minutes, down 4
- Fast & Furious – Supercharged – 23 minutes, down 3
- MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack! – 23 minutes, down 3
- Trolls Trollercoaster – 22 minutes, no change
- Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon – 20 minutes, down 1
- Kang & Kodos’ Twirl ‘n’ Hurl – 18 minutes, down 2
- Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast – 11 minutes, down 4

Overall, guests at Universal Studios Florida spent an average of 29 minutes standing in line per attraction.
That’s one minute less than last time, which is still impressive, given that December is the busy season.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure

So, how were the crowds at Islands of Adventure? Well, they weren’t as big as the previous month.
We know this because Grinchmas ended, and all Universal Studios fans know the deal there.

Universal
Fans stand in line for a couple of hours to hang out with The Grinch and his puppy.
Without that, the crowds naturally decrease, but there’s a catch when we do wait times.

I’ve learned not to include the Grinch character encounter since it skews the data so much.
Thus, we didn’t count it in the overall average wait times for December, which matters here.

Overall, Islands of Adventure guests stood in line for an average of 38 minutes per attraction.
That’s three minutes more than last time, albeit with the earlier huge caveat.

Also, we have some weirdness here, with the park’s top three rides drastically skewing the data.
If not for them, December and January would have shared roughly the same average wait time.

Still, this is terrific news for Universal Orlando, as the parks have enjoyed a strong start to 2026!
