A guest at Universal’s Epic Universe died after riding the Stardust Racers rollercoaster. The incident is under investigation, and the attraction remains closed.

Tragedy struck late yesterday at Universal’s Epic Universe when a guest died after riding the new Stardust Racers rollercoaster.
According to officials, the adult male guest was found unresponsive after exiting the ride and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Crime scene vans and a forensic team were present taking photos of the ride vehicle in the loading area. Universal confirmed the incident in a public statement, noting that the attraction is now closed pending investigation.
Universal is working closely with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office as the investigation continues.

Stardust Racers is a dual-launch coaster that can reach speeds up to 62 mph. Guests race on a thrilling comet and rocket and experience heights up to 133 feet along 5,000 feet of track.
