UPDATE: Epic Guest Dies from Multiple Blunt Impact Injuries
Earlier today, it was reported that a guest at Universal’s Epic Universe died after riding the Stardust Racers rollercoaster. The incident was under investigation, and the attraction remained closed.

Tragedy struck late yesterday at Universal’s Epic Universe when a guest died after riding the new Stardust Racers rollercoaster.
According to officials, the adult male guest was found unresponsive after exiting the ride and was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Crime scene vans and a forensic team were present, taking photos of the ride vehicle in the loading area.
It has been confirmed by the Orange County Medical Examiner’s office that the manner of death has been ruled an accident. The cause of death is multiple blunt impact injuries.

The man has been identified as 32-year-old Kevin Rodriguez Zavala.
