Universal Reveals “Downtown Clowntown” as Newest Halloween Horror Nights Scare Zone

Today, Universal Orlando has announced another scare zone!
Downtown Clowntown
Downtown Clowntown is the newest Halloween Horror Nights 2026 scare zone featuring Art the Clown, Killer Klowns from Outer Space, and more terrifying circus characters.
According to Universal Orlando, guests will find themselves surrounded by terrifying circus performers as Art the Clown joins the streets alongside the Killer Klowns from Outer Space and other sinister clowns eager to cause chaos.
The announcement follows yesterday’s reveal of Fortnitemares, an interactive scare zone inspired by Fortnite.
Guests will enter a Halloween-themed battleground featuring the iconic Battle Bus, recognizable Fortnitemares characters, and new creations designed exclusively for HHN.

With Downtown Clowntown now joining the lineup, this year’s announced scare zones include Fortnitemares, The Origins of Horror, Masquerade: Dance with Death, and The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane.

HHN runs on select nights from August 28 through November 1. Universal typically offers 10 haunted houses and experiences based on popular films and television series.
