Volcano Bay is is a water theme park. Which is like a theme park with a whole lotta water. And that big thing in the middle is just like a real volcano. Because you know volcanoes have water slides, the kind that’ll make you chicken out at the last minute unless your friends (or kids) peer pressure you. And if you’re more a go-with-the-flow type, we got chill things like a winding river, wave pool—oh, and lounge chairs. Doesn’t get chiller than that. Remember, it’s a South Seas oasis (and nothing says oasis like a volcano).
Did you know that you can access virtual lines at Volcano Bay? All the rides at Volcano Bay feature a Virtual Line that changes how you wait. Just tap in with your TapuTapu wearable to grab a ride time. Then go float, swim, splash, eat, shop or relax around the park. Your TapuTapu will tell you when it’s your time to ride.
Pro tip:
When you arrive, head to the far side of the volcano—you’ll find plenty of rides and seating in the back of the park. Better yet, hit the beach an hour before the park opens when you stay at a Universal Orlando hotel. For the ultimate stress-free retreat, reserve a private cabana or a shaded lounger— you can even have food delivered to you.
