NOW OPEN: Universal CityWalk In Hollywood
So we have some exciting news for West Coast Universal fans. Universal Hollywood partially reopened on Wednesday afternoon after months of being closed due to COVID-19.
CityWalk shopping and dining district is now open to guest from 12pm to 8pm. It should be noted that this is a partial reopening and that only some of the shops and eateries have opened their doors.
Here’s the announcement on their website:
The announcement didn’t come as a surprise as unions spoke to The Hollywood Reporter last week and said that the company was looking to reopen as soon as state and county restrictions were lifted on in-store shopping and sit-down dining.
This also spells good news for the theme park as this is a preliminary step toward opening Universal Hollywood which insiders think could be as early as next month.
The re-opening of CityWalk comes a week after Universal Orlando opening to guests and comes hot on the heels of Disneyland’s announcement that they will be reopening Disneyland and Disney California Adventure next month. Both parks have been closed since Mid-March.
