Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure Celebrates 2 Years at Universal Orlando
Happy birthday to one of my favorite rides! Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure celebrates 2 years since they first opened at Universal Orlando. The attraction opened on June 13, 2019, replacing the Dragon Challenge roller coasters, which closed on September 4, 2017.
It is the most expensive roller coaster ever built costing $300 million, surpassing the previous record of $100 million by Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure is also the longest roller coaster in Florida at 5,053 feet and holds a record-breaking seven launches.
You can access the ride by the traditional stand-by line or by accessing the Virtual Line. Pro-tip: Head straight to Hargrids as soon as the park opens and hop in line. We do this every trip and have minimal wait.
