Mardi Gras 2022 is held in Universal Studios and is included with your park ticket! The event is spread throughout the park with much of the excitement in the New York area and along the main parade route!

Live Concerts are Back! So be sure to head to the Music Plaza stage for some amazing performances. The outdoor venue is the perfect backdrop from these high-energy performances!

“Planet Mardi Gras” is this year’s parade theme and features 6 new floats. The upbeat music and colorful floats feature aliens , astronauts, comets, rockets, martians and more.
In addition, these new floats will join Universal’s traditional lineup to wind down the streets of Universal Studios Florida on select night sat 7pm. Grab a drink and get your spot early!

The kitchens are up and the menu’s are out! Universal Orlando’s award-winning chefs are bringing you an assortment of tasty dishes and authentic flavors! Booths located outside Monster Cafe and throughout New York feature king cake, marshmallow pie, beignets, and so much more.
And don’t forget the drinks! Try a “New Twist on Taters” or the “Cosmic Cornucopia” or an Emerald Mojito! Food trucks, kiosks, gelato stands more offer an international assortment of flavors.
Explore the Mardi Gras Tribute Store
This year’s store has an all-new theme: the Float Factory Warehouse. Explore (and shop) through four themed rooms that share the creative process of bringing a parade float to life.
The themed merchandise location offers a cool collection of Mardi Gras apparel and accessories. Are you an annual passholder? Be sure to check out the AP Mardi Gras apparel!
