It is no secret- if you are visiting Universal Orlando there is a good chance it is going to be hot and sunny!
Now don’t get me wrong. Beautiful weather is a determining factor when vacationing in Central Florida. But there are times you just need to cool off and get a break from that hot sun.
Whether looking to cool off or needing a chill break from the heat, here are top ways to stay cool at Universal Orlando!
Cool off on a Water Ride!

The fastest way to cool off is to get wet! And Universal has some great water rides! Dudley do Right Ripsaw Falls is part roller coaster and part water flume. Twist your way through classic cartoon fun and dive down a 75-foot drop to cool off!

Or if you want to get soaking wet, check out Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge Rat Barges. Hold on tight as you weave and wind through waterfalls and raging rapids. So much fun!

Ice cream cone? Sorbet in a cup? Or a thick creamy milkshake? There are a number of tasty options when you are looking to cool off and Universal Orlando boasts a number of delicious drinks.
Check out Toothsome for some larger than life milkshakes! Or head over to Scwab’s Pharmacy for a vintage vibe and cool treat! Even a quick stop for an iced Frappuccino at the local Starbucks will do the trick. Grabbing something cool and relaxing in a shady spot is a great way to beat the heat.

An entire theme park based on sun and aquatic fun? Absolutely!This water theme park has something for everyone! Intense water slides, relaxing pools, tropical drinks, delicious bites and more!
The lush island themed oasis is centered around the 200ft Krakatau volcano and assortment of water fun! There are lazy rivers, shady cabanas, intense water slides and more! Plenty of fun and relaxing ways to cool off.

Race down a Roman aqueduct-inspired waterslide, play on a sandy beach, or relax in two hot tubs and luxurious beach cabanas. Grab a drink or shareable bites at Splendid Bar and Grill for a perfectly chill afternoon!

Needing a theme park break but want to have fun? Catch a flick at the Universal Cinemark Movie Theater.
Grab a snack, sip on a refreshing drink, and sit back and relax. The theater features new releases on 20 screens with state-of-the-art projection and amazing sound.
