Hello Universal Orlando fans! It is a beautiful Central Florida day, and we are visiting our favorite Universal theme parks.
Our UniversalParksBlog team is checking out all of the spring changes and updates happening right now at the Universal Orlando Resort…and there are some exciting things happening!

Our first stop was in Universal Studios where we took a quick peek at the progress of the new Minions Café. And great news! We have new photos showing the Minions Café updates.
I don’t know about you, but I cannot wait for this new offering to open! Let’s take a closer look!

UO unexpectedly announced in May 2022 that the iconic Universal Classic Monsters Cafe was permanently closing.
Shortly after, the classic monsters statues on top of the Bone Chillin’ snack bar were removed making way for the next big thing: the Minions Cafe.

An entire Minion Land is in the works with a new Minion attraction coming soon, as well as the Minion Cafe opening.

Let’s check out the progress at Universal Studios!
Bright blue tarps and fencing surround the construction area right now making it hard to see what is happening behind the scenes.
But you can definitely see progress happening each week.
Not many details have been released about the upcoming café, but these pictures definitely get us excited for what is coming soon.
As you can see, the themed fencing and scaffolding is covering the majority of the work, but we couldn’t help but get excited at these newest photos.
