Let’s Check Out the Construction Updates at Universal Orlando!
Good morning Universal Orlando friends! Our UniversalParksBlog reporting team had an amazing time checking out all of the fantastic new offerings at the theme parks.
And a quick visit to the Universal Orlando Resort showed plenty of updates and construction happening.

Let’s check out the construction updates happening right now at Universal Orlando.
Previous Updates
If you have been following along with us, you have seen some of the amazing photos and behind the scene looks at the cool offerings coming soon.
Like the amazing progress happening for the Minions Cafe!
And don’t miss these updates for Villain-Con Minion Blast.
The attraction is currently blocked by themed fencing, but you can definitely see the bright entrance and colorful signage that recently was added.
Updates for Islands of Adventure
Now let’s check out the most recent updates at the Universal Orlando Resort!
First up is the Special UOAP entrance set up at the park entrance for Universal Annual Passholders. This is a special entrance into Islands of Adventure and is open all May from 8am -2pm daily.
This temporary addition is part of the Bonus Benefits available this month for passholders- be sure to stop by and check it out.
Our team also noticed new walls are up at the stage in Hogsmeade.
The new walls are themed and feature weathered “notices” along the wall.
Here is a great view of the new signage and walls.
And if you are heading over to Seuss Landing you will see a new temporary structure!
A bright white wall and new signage is up at the entrance.
The bright blue signs let guests know that set enhancement are in progress.
We are excited to see all of the new changes and refurbs coming to Islands of Adventure.
Universal Studios Updates
Our reporting team also stopped by Universal Studios and came upon some updates in Springfield.
Bright blue walls and images of your Simpsons’ character faves surround the Simpson’s Ride!
More gates and barricades separate the construction from guest view.
But don’t worry- the attraction is still open! Plenty of bright colored signs help direct guests towards the ride entrance.
There is so much happening fast and Universal is definitely getting ready for summer.
