Get ready Universal Orlando fans! Minion Land will officially open August 11th, 2023!
Universal Orlando Resort announced that Minion Land on Illumination Avenue will officially open to guests on August 11th at Universal Studios Florida.
The highly anticipated new area is currently in its soft opening phase! But excited guests are able to check out the new land and experience all of the Minion fun.
The official opening is just around the corner!

According to Universal Orlando Resort:
Minion Land was created in partnership between the visionary teams at Universal Creative and Illumination and brings to life a whole new level of Minion mischief and diabolical fun.
This one-of-a-kind land expands upon the wildly popular Despicable Me Minion Mayhem attraction to engage the entire family in a new collection of humorous adventures inspired by Illumination’s beloved Minions franchise. In Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast guests can blast their way to supervillain stardom. Blending immersive sets, interactive game-based technology, and an original storyline, this first-of-its-kind attraction puts guests’ villainous skills to the test to see if they have what it takes to become a member of the Vicious 6 – a notorious group of supervillains from the hit film, “Minions: The Rise of Gru.”

There is plenty for guests to experience! Grab a bite at the new eatery, the Illumination’s Minion Cafe! Or stop by Pop-A-Nana for banana-flavored popcorn!
