The Need-to-Know on Halloween Horror Nights Stay and Scream!

What is Stay and Scream? This is a cool option for guests with regular day admission to stay inside the park after it closes and be ready for the screams.
You have questions, and we have answers. Read on for all you need-to-know on HHN Stay and Scream.
What Is It?
The Stay and Scream areas allow Day Guests (with regular park admission) and Annual Passholders to stay inside Universal Studios after it has closed.
Guests stay in a designated holding location until HHN officially opens at 6:30. You can head to these location at 5pm- this is the time the park closes to regular guests.
Team Members scan your HHN ticket, then you can either access food and beverage kiosks or get in the queue for a house and be the first to enter.
Keep in mind, HHN is a separate ticket event. That means you need your ticket for the day (park admission or annual pass) and your separate HHN ticket for the event.
Where are the Locations?
There are 3 Stay and Scream locations for Halloween Horror Nights 32.
Central Park + Springfield Stay & Scream-Guests enter through the Central Park entrance across from Mel’s Drive-In and there are 2 lines ( 1 for The Last of Us and 1 for Universal Monsters: Unmasked.)
New York –This holding area is across from the Revenge of the Mummy at Louie’s Italian Restaurant. Guests can enter this holding area near Starbucks and Louie’s.
San Francisco (Richter’s Burger Co./Chez Alcatraz)-Head over to Richter’s Burger Co. and Chez Alcatraz for this Stay and Scream location.
What are the Corresponding Haunted Houses?
Be sure to choose the best Stay and Scream Location to see your favorite houses:
Central Park + Springfield Stay & Scream- This location corresponds with 2 houses: The Last of Us and Universal Monsters: Unmasked.
New York- This location corresponds with Stranger Things 4, The Exorcist: Believer, and Dueling Dragons: Choose Thy Fate haunted houses.
San Francisco (Richter’s Burger Co./Chez Alcatraz)- This Stay & Scream area corresponds with the Chucky: Ultimate Kill Count haunted house.
