Universal Orlando Resort Launches National Epic Universe Portal Tour
Excitement is building for Universal Epic Universe’s grand opening on May 22, 2025, and fans are ready!

Universal Orlando Resort is bringing a taste of the excitement directly to fans with the National Epic Universe Portal Tour. This immersive experience is coming to select U.S. cities this spring and offering a glimpse into the new theme park.
Experience the Epic Portal
Fans will love this! At the heart of the tour is a towering 30-foot-tall replica of “Chronos,” the iconic gateway into Epic Universe.

This mesmerizing portal will showcase dynamic sequences highlighting the park’s five immersive worlds:
- Celestial Park
- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic
- SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
- How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk
- Dark Universe
Visitors can engage with the portal for unique photo opportunities and, during evening hours, enjoy a spectacular night show.
Tour Schedule and Locations
Universal
The National Epic Universe Portal Tour will make stops in the following cities:
- Atlanta, Georgia: April 11-13 at Pemberton Place, adjacent to World of Coca-Cola
- New York, New York: April 23-26 at Rockefeller Center
- Philadelphia, Pennsylvania: May 16-18 at The Rocky Steps
- Chicago, Illinois: June 13-18 at Pioneer Court
Each location is open from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
