Universal Studios Wait Times for June 2026
Universal Orlando Resort is currently experiencing the come-down effect.
Throughout 2025, the gravitational pull of Universal Epic Universe remained strong.

Today Show
Now that this park is more than a year old, reality is setting in at the parks.
Comcast likely won’t add another theme park for decades to come.

Universal
So, we’ve entered the status quo phase at the parks…all three of them.
Epic Universe will remain wildly popular indefinitely since it’s the new hotness.

Attractions Magazine
Just as importantly, it’s objectively the best park in terms of theme and technology.
Then, we have the other two parks, the classics that have been delighting guests for decades.

Attraction Insight
Today, we’ll focus more on them. Here are the Universal Studios wait times for June 2026.
Universal Studios Florida – The Big Three

Universal
The song remains the same at Universal Studios Florida.
Not all rides are created equal, with demand higher for some than others.

To a larger point, some experiences tower above the rest in quality.
So, I’ve tried to single them out as we evaluate the various parks.

For a while, I had a new ride on this list, but its throughput made that ridiculous.
Since Universal could host so many guests on it, the wait times quickly shrank.

Another semi-popular roller coaster has deservedly been closed, and nobody misses it.
I hated that “thrill ride” from the beginning and said as much on many occasions.

Frankly, the 2010s were a dark period at Universal Orlando beyond the Harry Potter stuff.
Not coincidentally, the top ride at all three parks is part of the Potterverse.

At Universal Studios Florida, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts remains the alpha.
Last month, guests waited for an average of 41 minutes to fight the good fight.

That’s a full ten minutes less than last time, which I’m writing off to May being the offseason.
Then, we have my perennial favorite, Revenge of the Mummy.

This ride experienced a couple of recent tragic incidents that merit mention.
Still, fans stood in line for an average of 32 minutes for this roller coaster.

That’s a seven-minute drop, which is already painting a picture about the entire park.
Finally, we have Despicable Me Minion Mayhem, which had a 31-minute wait.

That’s ten minutes less than during April. So, we’re three for three on the big three.
Universal Studios Florida – Everything Else

That’s six (!) minutes less than last time, but that’s not all.
An average wait time of 22 minutes is also one of the lowest we’ve ever tracked here.
Universal’s Islands of Adventure

As a reminder, Islands of Adventure doesn’t always align with its sibling.
The newer park often demonstrates entirely different behavior from Universal Studios Florida.

I’m not saying that will happen here, especially not given the dramatic drop.

Overall, guests spent an average of 25 minutes standing in line per attraction.
That’s a whopping ten minutes less than last time, which tells the story.

This past month, the only attractions that increased their wait times had a type.
They were typically wet rides that tourists used to cool down during a scorching May.

The weather appears to have deterred attendance at Universal Orlando Resort.
Alternatively, something is going on here, but I suspect it’s Occam’s Razor.

Theme parks aren’t the place to be when the heat index is over 100 degrees.
