Universal Epic Universe Tickets Are Now on Sale
We’ve officially reached the first huge milestone for the grand opening of Universal Epic Universe.
Tickets are now on sale for the groundbreaking new theme park. Here’s everything you need to know.
You Can Buy Tickets for Epic Universe
Five days ago, Universal Studios officials published this press release and this video:
In the process, Universal revealed its lofty ambitions for its state-of-the-art theme park.
Epic Universe officially opens to the public on May 22nd, 2025, which is seven months from today, the day when tickets go on sale.
The UniversalParksBlog staff was waiting in line right when the online queue opened this morning. Here’s what we saw:
Obviously, a three-minute wait isn’t bad at all for a theme park with so much demand. Moments later, we saw this:
Excitedly, we awaited the display of the next screen, which would show ticket prices. Here’s what we learned:
Universal offered three different ticket options for us on our first attempt. We had our choice of three different 3-day tickets.
One provided access to three Universal Studios parks with Park Hopper privileges on two days, with Epic Universe access the other day.
Another removed Volcano Bay to make the ticket cheaper for those who aren’t interested in a water park visit.
Finally, Universal offers a non-Park Hopper option wherein you spend one day at Universal Studios Florida, one day at Islands of Adventure, and the other day at Epic Universe.
Next, Universal revealed its lowest price options, which vary depending on the date of your visit.
As you can see, these admission tickets range from $117.33 per day per adult to $150.67 per day per adult.
Overall, that’s $351.99 to $452.01 for a three-day ticket, depending on whether you want the water park option or not.
Park Hopper without Volcano Bay access works out to $412.02 for three days. There’s some variance based on rounding and taxes, but that’s the gist.
Who Can Book Right Now
As a reminder, today’s tickets aren’t available to annual passholders. Your reservation window opens on Wednesday, October 24th.
Universal is selling ticket packages to regular guests at the moment, but as Madison Owens noted, the upcoming passholder deals are quite good.
As Jess Landers stated, the adult ticket range is $118-$174 per day ($352-$521 total). So, you can tell that we weren’t targeting the most expensive dates.
You should expect to pay the highest prices during the early days of Epic Universe, when demand will be borderline unprecedented.
The good news today is that the ticket process went smoothly, with few social media complaints about booking issues. That’s a win for everyone!
