6 Locations for the Best Food & Drinks at Universal Orlando
Let’s be real. When you visit Universal Orlando, it’s not just for the rides and attractions. It’s for all the delicious food and drinks too! That is why I have put together this list for the top 6 locations for the best food and drinks at Universal Orlando. So, grab your appetite and check them out!
1. Springfield U.S.A.’s Dining – Universal Studios Florida
If you are craving a larger than life doughnut as seen on The Simpsons, a trip to Springfield U.S.A.’s Dining in Universal Studios Florida is a must! There you will find several “fast food” restaurants based on the hit animated TV series including The Krusty Burger, Lard lad Donuts, and Moe’s Tavern.
If you are needing a drink to wash it all down with, check out the Flaming Moe. This nonalcoholic drink bubbles and smokes to delight the entire family!
2. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Universal Studios Florida & Islands of Adventure
Probably the most popular of all the food and drinks in all of Universal Orlando is Butterbeer! This drink will make you think you have enrolled in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardy. Even better, there are several different ways to enjoy this treat inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
If you are looking to expand out from Butterbeer ad try other treats based on the hit movie franchise, some of the best food and drinks in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Orlando include Bertie Bott’s Every-Flavour Beans, Peppermint Toads, Fizzing Whizzbees, and Chocolate Frogs!
3. Blondie’s – Islands of Adventure
Another great option for the best food and drinks at Universal Orlando is Blondie’s in Toon Lagoon at Islands of Adventure. There you will find the Dagwood sandwich inspired by Dagwood himself!
The Dagwood at Blondie’s is made with fresh-baked onion and poppy seed bread, piled high with baked ham, turkey, roast beef, American and Swiss cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and mustard. After you take your first bite, you will see why Dagwood makes so many!
4. Green Eggs and Ham Cafe – Islands of Adventure
If you have ever pondered how green eggs and ham actually tasted, ponder no more! Head over to Green Eggs and Ham Cafe in Islands of Adventure to try it out for yourself with a tot-tastic twist. The eatery in Seuss Landing offers green eggs and ham tots with other tot-based meals. Look for the building shaped like a big green ham with a giant fork for a top and make sure to try the Who Hash too!
5. Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. – Universal CityWalk
All Forrest Gump fans should run – no walk – to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. in Universal CityWalk for several varieties of “fruit of the sea.” Options include Cajun shrimp, coconut shrimp, friend shrimp, shrimp soup, shrimp salad, shrimp scampi, shrimp gumbo, and so much more! In addition to the food, their drinks are some of the best In Universal as well!
6. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville – Universal CityWalk
For some of the best food and drink in all of Universal Orlando, a visit to Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Universal CityWalk is a must! I promise you will want to enjoy a “Cheeseburger in Paradise” while you enjoy a “Who’s to Blame” Margarita. And, remember, it’s not “Wasting Away” if you are actively consuming calories!
