A Handful of Hidden Gems at Universal’s Aventura Hotel

One of the main reasons why we’re so wonderfully smitten with Universal’s Aventura Hotel is that it is a really neat property filled with lots of fun amenities not to mention tech. You’ll find all of the “modern” creature comforts here and then some.

To give you a taste of the “Aventura” life, here are a handful of neat things we love about the property.

Awesome Eats

The food at Aventura is pretty amazing- in fact I’ll do another post about it. But first let me introduce you to one of my favorites. Head over to Urban Pantry for GELATO PANINI. Trust us when we say that it is a delicious as it sounds.  This incredible creation features a pressed warm sweet roll with a gelato center served up with a drizzled with chocolate sauce and a topping of powdered sugar. Best of all you can pick your gelato to make this awesome snack uniquely yours!

Walk This Way to Volcano Bay

Not only do you get awesome eats and state-of-the-art tech but Aventura is pretty darn convenient as well. There is a walking path from the resort to Volcano Bay. In under 5 minutes you’ll go from the luxury of your guest room to the chills, spills and thrills of Universal’s INCREDIBLE water park. Best of all as a Universal Resort guest you get to take advantage of early park admission one hour before the parks open to the general public!

Head to the VR Game Room

Game On! Tech lovers will want to head over to Aventura’s Virtual Reality game room. You’ll find it on the second floor near the fitness center.  Test your VR skills on high tech games like Fruit Ninja Merry Snowballs or Space Pirate Trainer.

DJ Hosted Parties at Bar 17

Universals’s Aventura Hotel brings the beats every weekend. Head over to Bar 17 Bistro to take in the stunning Sunset Views over Orlando. There’s an internationally-inspired menu and a DJ gets the part started with a mix of current and classic hits. Oh and be sure to try a Due Point Hooligan before hitting the dance floor!

In Room Tablets

I’m a total geek which means I LOVE the fact that Aventura Hotel has its own in room tablet. This allows you to do everything from adjust the temperature n your room to ordering room service. You can also sign into to your Netflix or Hulu account to stream your favorite shows while lounging in bed. The tablet is pre-programmed to delete your details the moment you check out!
