Update: New Signage Pops Up for Villain-Con Minion Blast!
Wow! Get ready for even more awesome changes happening at the Universal Orlando Resort.
Are you excited for the new Minion Land and themed offerings coming soon? We have some awesome photos of the new look and colorful signage that is popping up for Villain Con Minion Blast.
The UniversalParksBlog team stopped by the attraction entrance to see how the ride was progressing. We have to admit that it looks pretty great.
A bright painted entrance, colorful banners, and new decor were spotted. Check out the newest photos below!
New Attraction Updates
Villain-Con Minion is replacing Shrek 4-D and opening sometime this year!
Not many details have been released, but fans are eagerly anticipating the opening of Universal’s newest attraction.
The attraction is currently blocked by themed fencing, but you can definitely see the bright entrance and colorful signage.
New banners are visible on both sides of the attraction.

More Minion Offerings Coming Soon!

There is more Minion fun coming to UO. Last May, Universal announced that the iconic Universal Classic Monsters Cafe was permanently closing.
Surprised fans also saw that the classic monsters statues on top of the Bone Chillin’ snack bar were removed soon after the announcement.

In addition to the awesome Minion attraction, a Minion Cafe is also in the works and under construction.
Bright blue tarps and fencing surround the construction area right now making it hard to see what is happening behind the scenes.
However, you can still see the project is moving along.
Not many details have been released about the upcoming café or Minion Land, but these pictures definitely get us excited for what is coming soon.
