No Early Park Admission for Universal Orlando Resort this Wednesday!
Hello UniversalParksBlog fans! I hope you are reading this and staying safe as many of us wait for Hurricane Idalia.
If you happen to visiting Universal Orlando theme parks tomorrow, we have good news and we have bad news.
The good news? Universal Orlando resorts and parks are planning to open and operate as normal on Wednesday, August 30. The bad news? There is no Early Park Admission.

As of 4:30pm on Tuesday August29th, the Universal Orlando website shared this update:
Universal Orlando Resort theme parks including Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and Universal Volcano Bay are planning to open and operate as normal at 9:00 am on Wednesday, Aug. 30. However, we will not offer our usual Early Park Admission benefit for on-site hotel guests, select Annual Passholders and other select travel trade clients on this day while our teams prepare the parks for opening after the storm. Our hotels remain operational as they focus on taking care of our guests.
Hurricane Idalia Update

As of 5:30 pm, Hurricane Idalia strengthened into a Category 2 hurricane with 100 mph winds. The storm is expected to increase in the coming hours and develop into a Category 3 as it hits landfall Wednesday morning.
The hurricane is expected to bring powerful winds and a potential storm surge of 10 to 15 feet to the Big Bend area.
Central Florida is taking precautions with numerous school and business closings.
