BREAKING: Universal’s Newest Theme Park is Universal Kids Resort!

Universal’s newest theme park is Universal Kids Resort! The new theme park was originally announced earlier this year. Though details are limited, the new Texas-based park will be designed specifically for families with young children.

The new park will be a place to introduce young children and families to the Universal brand, preparing them for the more mature attractions and experiences at other Universal theme parks.

In addition to Universal’s announcements over social media, Frisco mayor Jeff Cheney made an announcement too. The mayor shared  that the road leading into the new Universal Kids Resort will be named Universal Parkway.

At the time Universal shared, “The proposed park will be designed to be more intimate and engaging for younger audiences and will be sized for a regional audience.  It will be full of family-friendly attractions, interactive and playful shows, character meet and greets, unique merchandise and fun food and beverage venues. Although smaller in size, it will still carry the same quality as Universal’s other larger resort destinations.”
