Al Roker Becomes the New Face of Universal TODAY at Universal Orlando
Universal Orlando Resort fans will recognize a familiar face that is making trip planning easier!
Universal TODAY, a new video series featuring TODAY Show favorite Al Roker, is about to drop with tips, tricks, and behind-the-scenes fun!

Beginning July 29, guests staying at Universal Orlando hotels can tune in for recommendations on attractions, dining, entertainment, and seasonal events before heading into the parks.
The series is designed to help visitors make the most of their vacation while offering a behind-the-scenes look at the resort.

Roker said the idea came from wanting to give guests an easy way to decide where to start their day.
UO offers over 40 rides, 60 restaurants, and rotating quarterly events, so it can be overwhelming for visitors. The “TODAY” show’s goal is to simplify the experience.

“We had this brainstorm that people, when they show up to Universal Orlando Studios, they turn on the TV, they want to know what they want to do, the places they want to go,” Roker said in an interview with WESH 2.
“We show you the best of the food, of the rides, take you behind the scenes of the rides. I think it’s brilliant,” he shared.

The new program expands Universal Orlando’s partnership with the TODAY Show, which previously introduced the popular TODAY Cafe.
Universal TODAY will also spotlight special offerings throughout the year, including Mardi Gras and the new Jaws expansion arriving this summer.
