FIRST LOOK: Prehistoric Raptor Wings Platter
We’ve got another incredible new dish to share with you from Islands of Adventure at Universal Florida. Here’s a first look at the Prehistoric Raptor Wings which is one of the special dishes created for the 30th Anniversary of Jurassic Park.
We found the Prehistoric Raptor Wings at Thunder Falls Terrace. The eatery is located next to Jurassic Park River Adventure.
The Prehistoric Raptor Wings Platter sells for $15.99.
Included with the Prehistoric Raptor Wings Platter are Char-grilled chicken wings marinated with olive and spices. The wings are then tossed in a sweet chili sauce.
The wings are served with cilantro lime rice, beans, and a plantain chip.
Our UniversalParksBlogger Kayla said that she was impressed with the portion size. You can also get a platter that comes with a milkshake.
Our roving reporter was loving the glaze on the wings. She said that it was only a little bit spicy but seasoned to perfection!
The rice and beans are a bit bland next to the zing you get from the wings but with hearty portions, you’ll definitely feel full!
Kayla said that the Prehistoric Raptor Wings are a great addition to the menu and something that she would 100% get again!
For those worried about the spiciness Kayla reiterated that it’s just a little bit spicy with a sweet kick.
The dishes also came with one large plantain chip. It isn’t seasoned at all so it just adds a basic bit of texture to the platter.
We definitely recommend giving this treat a try during your Universal Florida getaway!
