Opening DATE Revealed For Universal Orlando’s Villain-Con Minion Blast
Minion Land is new to Universal Studios Florida, featuring all the characters you know and love from the Despicable Me franchise.

Minion Land features dining, shopping, two attractions, and more, and it’s scheduled to open on August 11th. One of the rides has not yet officially opened, and now it finally has an opening date!
Villain-Con Minion Blast Opening August 11th
Earlier today, Universal Orlando Resort announced that Illuminations Villain-Con Minion Blast will open on August 11th, 2023. Located in Univeral Studios Florida, this ride features Minions, Belle Bottom, Jean Clawed, and the Vicious 6 at Villain-Con.

We’ve already given you a look at Villain-Con (click here to read through it!) and we thought it was fun and great for the whole family.
Note that hand-held infants are not permitted, and guests under 48″ are required to ride with a supervising companion.
Villain-Con Minion Blast
The ride itself is interactive, arming guests with E-Liminator X blasters. You then stand on a moving walkway to shoot at different targets and pass by different scenes featuring the Vicious 6 villains from Minions: The Rise of Gru.
