Choosing a Wizarding Wand Just Got Easier at Universal Studios Florida
Ever since the Wizarding World of Harry Potter debuted at Universal Orlando in 2010, our world has been a little more magical. You can feel fully immersed inside both Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley thanks to the amazing rides, food, theming, and more.

Another awesome part of the world is that you can actually use wands to make magic! And, you get to choose between dozens of different wands, including those themed to look just like the ones in the Harry Potter movies.

Obviously Ollivander’s is a popular spot to pick out a wand, but there’s another location that just became more convenient!
Harry Potter Wands
Harry Potter wands are now on display at the Universal Studios Store in Universal Studios Florida!
There have been wands from the Wizarding World in this store for a long time, but now they’re on display. You might be wondering why this is important, and we’re here to tell you!
When wands aren’t on display you have to open up each individual box in order to see the wand you want to look at. This is definitely a time-consuming task if you don’t know what any of the character wands look like!
The boxes also don’t open and close very easily (they’re pretty snug!), so it can be a bit tedious. But now, with this display, you can just check out all of the wands at once, pick which you like the best, and then get the corresponding wand already in a box.
There are a lot of characters’ wands available, like The Elder Wand (Dumbledore’s wand during the majority of the Harry Potter series)…
…Cedric Diggory’s wand…
…James Potter’s wand…
…Peter Pettigrew’s wand…
…and the wand of a Death Eater.
Do note that you can also see a similar wand display over at Wands by Gregorovitch in Diagon Alley. This display can get crowded from time to time, so it’s nice to have another option!
