Universal Orlando Announces Three Temporary Hotel Closures
Universal Orlando has just announced that guests booked at three of their on-site hotels are having their reservations modified to alternative on-site hotel options. The Universal Orlando Hotel Closures affect guests booked at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort, Universal’s Aventura Hotel, and Universal’s Endless Summer Resort – Surfside Inn and Suites. These guests are receiving the below information due to “hotel operational changes”.

Gusts with reservations at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort January 1st – February 8th, 2021 have the option to modify their reservation to enjoy a complimentary upgrade to the Premier Hotel Loews Royal Pacific Resort. A modification to the hotel over the same arrival and departure dates will honor the existing room rate, and guests will receive the additional Universal Orlando theme park benefits that come with staying at a Premier Hotel.
In order to receive this upgrade and maintain the room rate, the guest reservation must retain the original arrival and departure dates on their reservation. A room type of equal or lower value will be offered, all room types are subject to availability. If a guest chooses alternate travel dates or hotels, the complimentary upgrade to a Premier hotel is no longer valid, and the rate is subject to change. Offer must be booked 7 days prior to the original arrival date.

Guests with reservations at Universal’s Aventura Hotel January 1st – June 30th, 2021 have the option to modify their reservation to enjoy Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort during their stay. Universal Orlando is also extending these guests a $50 Hotel Dining Credit* to use at select Universal Orlando Resort hotel dining outlets during their stay for any inconvenience this may have caused (2-night minimum stay required).
One $50 hotel dining credit is being offered per room. The credit applies to food and beverage (excluding alcohol) at Universal Orlando hotel restaurants and outlets.
