See How Minion Land is Coming Along at Universal Studios Florida
Universal Studios Florida will open Minion Land sometime this summer. This area is near the front of the park where the current Despicable Me ride already lives.
The area will have another attraction as well as stores and restaurants. We’ve been keeping an eye on construction for a while now.
We recently found out more specifics on the food offerings coming to Minion Land, and you can see them starting to take shape!
Minion Land Construction
Minion Cafe seems like it will be the main food location in the new land. We saw the Cafe sign was actually up on the building!
It is still covered in duct tape and some wrappings, but this is exciting!
Another spot we’re excited about is Pop-a-nana, which will be a popcorn location. And yep, there will be banana-flavored popcorn here!
The sign is up now and it shows two minions making some popcorn out of an ear of corn inside of a banana peel. Those Minions sure are creative!
Next up, you can see the Bake My Day store with the giant pink cupcake on top! This will be a bakery and retail location.

And, here’s a look at the facades next to the bakery before you get to Minion Cafe.
Also in the land will be Freeze Ray Pops where you can get different popsicles and drinks.
You can also see the front of Villain-Con Minion Blast, which is the new attraction coming to the land. This will be a game-based attraction where you take on the various villains from the Minions world!
You will step on a moving pathway during the attraction.
