First Look at Minion Cafe at Universal Hollywood
A mischievous day spent in Super Silly Fun Land can work up quite an appetite. Luckily for you, a new dining experience is arriving soon with an eclectic selection of sandwiches and more. Feast your eye(s) on some of the despicably delicious items you’ll soon be able to enjoy at Minion Cafe!
Minion Cafe will offer the Classic Grilled Cheese, our take on the traditional sandwich that even the pickiest little ones are sure to enjoy. This melty blend of sharp cheddar and Mexican cheeses between two pieces of warm sourdough bread comes with a side of marinara for dipping and crinkle cut fries.
Want to spice it up a bit? The Meatball Parmesan Grilled Cheese is our Classic Grilled Cheese with some juicy meatballs added to the mix. Crinkle cut fries and marinara dipping sauce still included, of course.
If you’re feeling extra adventurous, the Pulled Pork Grilled Cheese features savory pulled pork and caramelized onions, plus a banana BBQ sauce for dipping that you’ll have to taste to believe.
This hearty meal will give you the energy you need to continue doing Gru’s bidding for the rest of the day. The half BBQ rotisserie chicken will come with a side of crinkle cut fries and buttery corn on the cob that’s as warm and yellow as Bob himself.
Eduardo Perez would agree, this spicy chicken tinga served in a tortilla bowl topped with white queso, guacamole, jalapenos, pico de gallo, sour cream and cilantro is definitely the most macho way to dine. Live shark, dynamite, and active volcano NOT included.
This warm noodle bowl includes roasted pork, pork broth, marinated egg, black garlic oil, green onions, and sesame seeds. There’s absolutely no PX-41 in it, but it’s so good you might find yourself devouring it with the enthusiasm of a Purple Minion after just one sip.
A refreshing blend of romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and juicy chicken breast marinated in garlic rosemary that’s so filling you’ll think your appetite was hit with a shrink ray.
No restaurant in the Park is complete without some unique and tasty treats for dessert. Minion Cafe will have a sweet mixed fruit cup, adorable sugar cookies, and a decadent white cake with buttercream rainbow frosting that we’ve appropriately dubbed the Unicorn Cupcake. It’s Agnes’s favorite, obviously.
There’s also the Felonious Float – a raspberry slush beverage swirled with banana frozen yogurt, topped with whipped cream and banana candy.
And of course, a mug of delicious Chocolate Banana Pudding featuring hazelnut spread, cocoa butter, and vanilla wafer cookies. We’ll try to save some for you, but the Minions just can’t stop eating it.
On your next despicably delightful trip to the Park, be sure to stop by for a peek at the Minion Cafe. And stay tuned for updates on the official full opening! We’ve got something tasty for everyone in your group.
As part of Taste of Universal beginning March 12, select Minion Cafe items will be available à la carte during the event. For additional details on Taste of Universal, click here.
