More Details Revealed for SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Epic Universe
This week, Universal Orlando released so much exciting news! From exciting summer offerings to the announcement of the New SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, it is a big week for Universal.

Yesterday, we shared information about the exciting immersive experiences coming to SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, and now we have even more details about Super Mario Land and Donkey Kong Country.

Get ready to have fun alongside Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and more iconic characters from your favorite Nintendo games.
Epic Universe
Universal Epic Universe is Universal’s fourth theme park in Orlando and is scheduled to open in 2025.

The new theme park features five unique worlds, including Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, Dark Universe, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
The new SUPER NINTENDO WORLD features attractions that the Hollywood and Japan parks have and, for the first time in the US, will also include Donkey Kong Country.
CELESTIAL PARK & SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
The entrance of Epic Universe leads guests directly to Celestial Park, a celestial sky and outer-space-themed park. Celestial Park is an experience on its own, but it also contains the portals to the four other Epic Universe-themed worlds.

The portals are tall, obelisk-like structures marking entries to the other worlds. Head toward the portal and enter through the familiar green Nintendo pipe to head into SUPER NINTENDO WORLD.
Super Mario Land comes to life in new ways and so much of this new world is constantly in motion. Check out Peach’s Castle, Thwomps thud down, shells spin, Koopas pace back-and-forth–just like in the games.

Fans can punch a “? Block” and hear the actual sound of earning a digital coin. Chris Bromby, the project’s Senior Show Producer, admits that entering SUPER NINTENDO WORLD may make fans teary-eyed and nostalgic.
With SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, the Universal Creative team was tasked with bringing the beloved franchise to life in a whole new way, and we can’t wait to see it all.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge
Fans will wind their way through Bowser’s Castle and join Team Mario on the racetrack to defeat Team Bowser in this interactive ride. Just like in the Mario Kart games, you’ll collect coins and throw shells, all while driving through courses underwater and in the clouds.

The attraction employs special goggles and immerses you in the attraction in a new way!
Yoshi’s Adventure
Orlando will host the first Yoshi’s Adventure attraction in North America! The family-focused ride will have you hopping onto a Yoshi and searching for glowing eggs.

Key Challenges
Interactive experiences are spread out over the land, creating a new element of fun where you ear digital keys. Collect three keys with a Power-Up Band and you can play Bowser Jr. Shadow Showdown.
Test your skills in a variety of challenges, including Thwomp Panel Panic, Goomba Crazy Crank, Piranha Plant Nap Mishap, Koopa Troopa Power Punch, and the Bob-Omb Kaboom Room.

Meet and Greets
Take a pic and snag a selfie with your favorite Super Mario characters! Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad will all be available for character meet-and-greets throughout the day.
Even more fun? Use your Power-Up Band for an enhanced character experience.
DONKEY KONG COUNTRY
There is even more fun! Just beyond Super Mario Land, head through another archway and enter Donkey Kong Country.

Donkey Kong Country features a tropical vibe and guests will see and experience the gradual change from the bricks and hills of Super Mario Land to the jungle atmosphere of Donkey Kong Country.
The main attraction is Mine-Cart Madness, a whirlwind roller coaster with cutting-edge technology where guests will join Donkey Kong and his friends to protect the Golden Banana.
But this is not your average roller coaster. The cutting-edge technology makes the new ride a truly unique experience with a new ride system, developed in-house by Universal Creative. The new technology recreates the thrilling maneuvers of the mine carts from the Donkey Kong Country video game series.
